Thank you to all of our Wine Club members who joined us for our 2026 Spring Wine Release Party on Sunday, June 7, at Shamrock Hills! We closed the winery to the public for the day to celebrate our valued Wine Club members with an afternoon filled with new wine releases, thoughtfully paired tapas, live music, and wonderful fellowship. Despite the rain making occasional appearances throughout the afternoon, everyone embraced the relaxed atmosphere and enjoyed a memorable day together.
If you are a Wine Club member who was unable to attend the release party, you can still pick up your wine release through Sunday, June 28. After that date, we will begin reaching out regarding shipping arrangements for any unclaimed releases.
If you find that you need to take a break from the Wine Club, please contact Denise at 816-377-2313 so we can offer your membership spot to another future member. We currently have over 100 Wine Club members, and as our club continues to grow, we want to ensure we maintain the personalized experience that makes our club special. While we are always sad to see members leave, we know it’s never truly goodbye, and we hope you’ll continue to visit us at the winery.
This release featured seven exciting new wines! Finnigan members selected six of the seven wines to take home, while Chloe members selected three wines as part of their release. All members had the opportunity to sample each of the new releases alongside carefully selected food pairings designed to enhance the tasting experience:
- Sweet Backroads White made with a Vignoles grape that we back sweetened to a semi sweet wine which we paired with buffalo chicken dip, celery, and carrots
- Vidal Blanc, a dry crisp white wine that we paired with marshmallow fruit dip, apples, and strawberries
- Shamrock St. Vincent Rosé with it’s notes of cranberries and cherries paired nicely with a BBQ pulled pork slider
- Spicy Hadley Jo, named after our spicy 2 1/2 year old granddaughter is a Chambourcin wine that we enhanced giving it a malbec feel and paired with a Caprese skewer prepared by Donnici’s Deli and Italian Market
- 2024 Reserve Chardonel, the oak on the wine paired nicelywith an individual charcuterie cup of garlic-pepper salami, smoked gouda, a cracker, and some white chocolate
- 2024 Reserve Chambourcin our American Oak aged Chambourcin worked perfect with a grilled tri-tip
- 2024 Reserve Norton I love our Barrel aged Norton and to me Norton is the best type of dessert wine as it takes away from the sweetness of the dessert and balances it. This one we paired with a triple chocolate brownie made using Norton wine
We received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback from members who enjoyed experiencing how different foods complement each wine. Many appreciated gaining new ideas for serving and pairing wines at home.
As members mingled and tasted throughout the afternoon, they were also treated to a special live performance by Drew Six on the patio, creating the perfect soundtrack for a fun and memorable celebration.
Over the coming months, these newly released wines will gradually be integrated into our regular lineup as previous vintages sell through.
