Sláinte from the Rileys!
What a crazy couple of months it has been at Shamrock Hills! Since our last newsletter in August, we’ve harvested grapes from five different blocks of our vineyard, driven I-don’t-even-know-how-many miles chasing down grapes from local growers, got a son successfully married off, and planned and pulled off our 3rd Annual Irish Festival.
Oh—and did we mention Mike and Ben have been elbow-deep in grape juice making our 2026 vintage? 🍇🍷
So…about that missing September newsletter. We could make excuses, but honestly, we think the above pretty much explains it. 😂
Around here, the Ranch is in full Fall Wedding Season, while the winery is smack dab in Winemaking Season. In other words, things are just a little cray-cray around the Hills right now!
But enough about our chaos—let’s talk about what’s coming your way.
We’ve got some fun things planned for fall, although we do have to work around a couple of Missouri traditions: deer season and pheasant season. (And yes, we’re already planning a Hunter-Widow’s Wine & Cocktail Class for those of you who suddenly find yourselves with some free time! 😉)
And then there’s fire pit season! We have four fire pits, and they’re ready to do what fire pits do best—keep you warm while you drink wine and pretend you’re not cold. 🔥🍷 Be sure to check out our October “Sip Happens by the Fire” Special below.
We’ll also be bringing back our Hay Ride Wine Tastings in November, releasing some new wines for our Fall Wine Club, and transforming the Quonset Barn into a little slice of Colorado with our holiday pop-up:
