Sláinte from the Rileys! ☘️

Someone blinked—and suddenly summer is almost over and harvest is right around the corner! Before we dive into grape picking, crushing, and all the craziness that comes with harvest, we wanted to take a minute to celebrate what an incredible year it’s been.

We produced 13 wines and entered 11 in the Missouri Governor’s Cup—and brought home 13 awards! 🏆 Four golds, six silvers, and a bronze…including Best of Show for Semi-Dry Red for our Spicy Hadley Jo and Best of Show for Semi-Dry Rosé for our St. Vincent Rosé!

Pretty amazing considering we started this journey just four years ago with little more than a love of wine and a desire to share it with others. We’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come—and even more excited about where Missouri wine is headed. There are some fantastic Missouri wineries raising the bar, and we’re thrilled to be part of it.

And then there’s Finnigan…our sweet, slightly overzealous winery security guard. 🐾 He recently had emergency surgery for an obstructed bowel but is thankfully doing much better. Thanks to the staff at the Excelsior Springs Animal Clinic for their sense of urgency in getting him in and evaluated and performing the surgery without hesitation. He’s on bed rest for 10-days (which, as you can imagine, is going really well 😂) and will be taking a little time off from security duty while he heals. Chloe is happy to have him home but is definitely not a fan of his “cone of shame”!
