What a great 3rd Release we had with our Wine Club on Friday, April 11th! We shut down the tasting room/winery to the public that evening and had a happy hour/social with just our Wine Club members. We had over 40 members and their plus 1’s attend and an additional 22 guests who attended with members. They enjoyed light appetizers and fellowship as they tried 8 different wines through the evening.
The line up included: 2024 Vignoles, 2024 Valvin Muscat (dry white wine), Sweet Back Roads White (sweetened Vignoles), 2024 Sweet Hadley Jo (this one won’t be released to public until after the 2023’s are sold out), 2024 Chambourcin, 2023 County Cavan Red (60% Norton/40% Chambourcin), 2023 Norton Reserve, and 2023 Chambourcin Reserve.
We had so much fun and was hopping all night, that we didn’t get any pictures of the event. However, we did ask our Wine Club Members and their guests what their favorite was that they tried and that as well as the sales for the night (Finnigan’s got a selection of 6 wines in their bundle and Chloe’s got 3 in their bundle)—we have determined the “Fan Favorites”.
For the Whites – our 2024 Vignoles won! Hands down, but our Valvin Muscat surprised a lot of people and got Honorable mention along with our Sweet Backroads White. For our Reds—Our County Cavan Red won but our 2023 Norton, and 2024 Chambourcin came close behind. Our 2023 Reserve Chambourcin and our Sweet Hadley Jo got honorable mention.
